Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.

Horn antenna今年春雨不如預期，全國水情告急，台中市水情燈號即將進入「綠燈」階段。台中市長盧秀燕24日在市政會議上指出，台中市必須超前部署，提前啟動抗旱整備作為，將協助自來水公司啟動地下水的備援，地下水源會經由淨化之後，接入供水網，作為穩定民生用水最重要的一個備援。Horn antenna台水公司也表示，為減少水庫用水，目前嚴陣以待，已整備地下水等水源的相關設備，隨時投入補充供水。
Horn antenna盧秀燕在市政會議提出春雨不足的警訊，表示全國水情告急，嘉義也告急，苗栗要開始休耕，台南的民生工業用水大概可撐到五月底，台中用水兩個最重要的來源德基水庫、鯉魚潭水庫，整體蓄水量正在持續遞減中。而台中市每日用水需求約140萬噸，主要由大安溪鯉魚潭水庫、大甲溪石岡壩及德基水庫聯合調配供應。根據水利署水庫即時水情，鯉魚潭水庫目前蓄水率30.9%，德基水庫為61.3%。
盧秀燕指出，台中作為中部重要產業重鎮，面對水情挑戰須展現高度抗旱韌性，市府近期將召開供水情勢及整備協調會議，從「開源」與「節流」雙軌並進，全面盤點各項抗旱整備措施。開源方面，將推動多元水源運用，包括盤點轄內新建工程地下水井出水量，統整水資源回收中心再生水供應量，並協請台灣自來水公司檢視抗旱井啟用情形；另針對具備供水條件的新建工程地下水井，進行水質檢驗，以確保水源安全與可用性。
為確保台中市用水無虞，已同意水利署及自來水公司，啟動地下水的備援，而地下水源會經由淨化後接入供水網，作為穩定民生用水的最重要的一個備援，也會請經發局、民政局、水利局、新聞局宣傳節約用水，避免走到減壓及限水的一步。
水利局表示，台中市抗旱水井共有82口，分別位於西屯區、外埔區、大甲區、大肚區、后里區、石岡區、南區、東區、南屯區、大里區、西區、烏日區、新社區、太平區、豐原區等，其中位於中央公園就有20口的抗旱水井。
