Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

捷運三鶯線預計今年中旬啟用,民眾憂被噪音干擾,新北捷運局宣布啟動「隔音牆優化」計畫,透過分區檢討與專業評估,首波將投入約6億元經費,針對學校及人口密集區優先施作,確保捷運便捷與鄰里環境能共生共榮。
新北捷運局長李政安表示,三鶯線整體進度已達95%,目前進入全線整合測試階段。為優化噪音環境,捷運局密集完成13場實地會勘,雖然目前監測值均低於法定標準與契約加嚴標準,但仍將針對重點路段對症下藥,採取主動與被動雙管齊下的減噪措施,以精準提升降噪效益。
在主動式減噪方面,李政安指出,2025年12月已完成全車隊車輪鏇削,解決測試初期因緊急煞車導致的異音問題,實測已降低超過10分貝,並同步調整夜間收車模式以減少干擾。被動式減噪則以「學區優先」,如北大國小、鳳鳴國中將新增2米隔音牆,三峽國中則加高2米,針對人口密集區也將依據環境量身打造優化方案。
捷運局強調,隔音牆優化遵循「分區處理、精準效益」原則,避免盲目設置全罩式隔音牆導致浪費公帑或影響高樓層景觀。第一階段工程僅能利用深夜收班後的3小時施工,力拚今年全線完成。未來完工後也將持續透過科學監測滾動調整,確保「錢花在刀口上」,帶給市民更舒適的交通與居住環境。
