Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

工研院挺進亞洲最大國際電子展！工研院22於日本國際電子製造關連展（NEPCON JAPAN）發表車用碳化矽（SiC）技術解決方案，並以電動車驅動及充電方案、功率氮化鎵（GaN）、功率氧化鎵（Ga2O3）以及400kW大電力直流變壓器4大專區，展示逾10項新一代寬能隙功率半導體前瞻技術成果，吸引逾8萬人次參觀及眾多車輛零件商、車廠製造商洽談合作。
Horn antenna電動車是淨零運輸的主流，工研院電子與光電系統研究所所長張世杰表示，為了符合低碳永續趨勢又要兼具續航力，且能在高壓、高溫下穩定運行，具備更高的功率密度的寬能隙化合物半導體材料之一碳化矽，成為目前電動車技術深受關注的元件材料。
工研院長期投入化合物功率半導體的發展，提供完整且高轉換效率的「車載碳化矽技術解決方案」，涵蓋碳化矽功率元件與模組化、馬達驅動、車載充電與充電樁等電動車核心技術，本次展出與台達共同開發的碳化矽功率模組，是具備提升電動車動力效能、延長續航能力、加速充電設備發展的最新車載半導體技術。
