Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

「台灣拳后」林郁婷在巴黎奧運一路前進，8月8日凌晨３時，公視3台將直播林郁婷女子拳擊57公斤級四強賽，若獲勝將有機會問鼎金牌。公視2014年間製播節目，捕捉到有別於拳擊擂台上實力強勁、霸氣自信的林郁婷。她穿和服女裝的畫面在網絡瘋傳、一天內就有數萬網友點閱，鏡頭前她和家人挑戰化妝、穿浴衣、跳舞，讓大眾看見林郁婷私下與母親廖秀蘭、阿嬤廖秦美玉的溫情往事；這集「祖孫玩很大」林郁婷特集，也將於後天（8/9）下午4時，公視頻道播出。

主持人吳宗憲日前提及 「公共電視不轉播奧運，你去轉播王建民打棒球」，為此公視表示，「自2008北京奧運以來，公視從不缺席轉播，2024巴黎奧運加入公廣集團華視，擴大轉播服務」，「自2006年底即無轉播王建民賽事」。公視特別對吳宗憲喊話，請吳宗憲鎖定公視，一起為台灣選手加油。事實上至8月7日中午前，公視已轉播38場台灣選手賽事，麟洋羽球男雙奪金連霸、射擊李孟遠摘下本屆首面獎牌，以及戴資穎的奧運最終戰等，電視轉播凝聚民心也感動國人。
此外，公視「祖孫玩很大」林郁婷特輯讓民眾回顧10年前的林郁婷，當時雖已是臺灣首位世界拳擊青年級組金牌選手，但感情好的阿嬤卻不贊成她練拳。林郁婷提到：「阿嬤有到現場來替我加油，不過他都不敢看我比賽。」擔心孫女受傷，阿嬤也曾跟她的教練曾自強表達「最怕孫女被人打」，透露自己的不捨與擔心。
