Standard gain horn antennas are used as calibration devices that measure the gain of other antennas.
These antennas are made up of a combination of a Waveguide to Coax Adapter and Standard Gain Horn with Waveguide Input. It is a kind of simple combination but with great care and attention to create an antenna with accurate and suitable specs.

英特爾、成大簽署專利訂閱合作協議為期5年
國立成功大學與美商英特爾公司（Intel）簽署為期 5 年之專利訂閱合作協議，英特爾將支付費用訂閱由成大所提供獲證的專利清單。目前，英特爾與全球多所知名大學包括美國德州大學奧斯汀分校、伊利諾大學、加拿大卡爾加里大學，和以色列耶路撒冷希伯來大學等大學簽署專利訂閱制度，目前成大是台灣唯一與英特爾簽署專利訂閱制度的國內大學。
英特爾每年支付專利訂閱費用後，成大每季將提供專利清單給英特爾進行評估，一旦評估專利適用專利授權，英特爾將會支付成大授權技轉金。
成大長期深耕產學在專利、產學、技轉、新創等領域績效卓著，據泰晤士高等教育世界大學（Times Higher Education，THE）排名顯示，成大在 THE 產學收入（Industrial income）排名近期已經連續 4 年拿下滿分 100 分的優異成績，與世界頂尖大學並列第一，而產學合作金額近 4 年總計 256.5 億元，年均超過 64 億元，其中來自企業占比約 24.3%。
成大近來致力於產學業務轉型，積極推動與國內大型指標企業建立鏈結，攜手國內企業成立共同研發中心（共研中心）。目前已與國巨、日月光、友達光電、台積電、廣達、智邦、光寶科技、台達電等國際級企業成立共研中心，由企業提供高額經費、產學雙方共同進行前瞻技術研發與高階人才培育，近 3 年成大與上述 8 家企業共研中心執行計畫總金額達 5 億元。
除了產學績效名列前茅，成大在技轉與專利的表現年年更上層樓。成大技轉簽約金自 2009 年起連續 15 年突破億元，是全台唯一達此成就的大學，簽約金迄今累計逾 36 億元，實收金累計逾 11 億元，同時，簽約金與實收金自 2020 年起連續 4 年雙雙破億，兩者年均分別為 2.9 億元與 1 億元，而維持技轉優勢的關鍵，就是提升智財品質與多管道經營研發成果商轉媒合機會。
